VELOS is a conversation and booking engine that works inside WhatsApp. Its first use is a front desk for dental clinics: it writes to lapsed patients in their language, offers real open slots from the clinic's calendar and books them, without anyone picking up the phone.

A list of patients who haven't been back in a year, and nobody free to call them.
The receptionist has the list, a ringing phone and three people at the desk. The list waits. It has been waiting since January. Patients who are not reminded rarely come back by themselves, so the chairs stay emptier than they should.
With VELOS, the list gets worked every morning. Your receptionist reads one summary at the end of the day: who booked, who asked something only a person can answer.

- Is VELOS live?
- No. It is in development. We are looking for a small number of clinics to pilot it with us. When a pilot has run, its results go in the proof ledger with dates and how we counted them.
- Which countries is it for?
- Clinics outside India first, then India. Tell us where you are and we will tell you honestly whether you fit the first group.
- Will it work with our practice management software?
- It has to, or it is not worth installing. Tell us which software you use; that decides the order we build connections in.
- What happens with patients' data?
- VELOS only needs names, phone numbers and appointment history. Before any pilot, we agree in writing what it reads, where it is stored and who can see it.
- What will it cost?
- Pilot clinics help set the price. We would rather tell you a number we can stand behind than guess one now.
