TECH-01 · Snaprint OS · In production
An operating system for a business with nobody at the counter.
We designed and built Snaprint OS to run self-service print kiosks end to end: the customer's phone, the payment, the machine, the cloud and the business behind it. It runs Snaprint in production today.
The problem we designed for
A shop that has to earn when nobody is standing in it.
An unattended machine has to do everything a person did at the counter: take the file, show the price, take the money, do the job, notice when something is running out, and keep the books. And the people running the business need to see all of it from somewhere else.
Most kiosk software only drives the machine. We built the whole counter.

Design decisions
Four choices that make it work unattended.
- 01
One system, not five tools stitched together.
Payments, devices, alerts, sales and customer records share one data model. Nothing is copied between apps, so nothing drifts out of step.
- 02
Designed for nobody being there.
Every step a shop assistant used to do, from taking the money to noticing the paper is low, is either automatic or raises an alert first.
- 03
Payment before the printer moves.
A job is only released once the UPI payment is confirmed, so an unattended machine never prints for free.
- 04
The business runs on it too.
Snaprint's own sales and customer records live in the same system, so the people running it see machines and money in one place.
Have an unattended operation of your own?
The same pattern fits any business where a device, a payment and a customer meet without a person: vending, lockers, self-checkout, field equipment. Tell us yours.
Bring us a problemKiosks, prices, locations and owner terms live on Snaprint's own site.
